Yes, I teach two classes of 7 people monthly at my home in North Saancih BC. If there are no classes posted in the "CLASS BOOKINGS" section of my site, that just means there are no classes listed yet or registration for current class has been closed.
All class registrations muct be booked 24 hours prior to the class start time as the registration will close for bookings after that time.
Example: If class is 11:00am Saturday morning, you must book the class before 11:00am on Friday.
This allows me to prep the adequate amount of stones and supplies for class as well as set up for the appropriate amount of people.
If you choose to sign up as a subscriber on my website, you will be first in line to have direct access to classes 24 hours before my classes go live on Facebook and Instagram! If you miss this email, you can always check my Facebook page for any upcoming class dates. Since my classes are kept small-they do fill up fast!
Class bookings are $60/pp. I try to make the class as enjoyable and relaxing as I can! When you arrive you will be able to select a small treat (most often from our own local "Sidney Scones") and choose from a selection of Nespresso coffee or tea for you to enjoy during your class.
As for the class, you have the "use of" a full color printed pattern as we follow along together (step-by-step), use of coordinating paints and tools and of course your beautiful creation!
Class is sectioned into three parts:
Your creation, of course-is YOURS to take home and admire. After class, each artist will also be sent the PDF pattern of the class they attended in hopes that you want to go home and practice what you have learned!
Well, short answer is "no"-Because the stones that we use during class are man-made of a gypsum type material, it does have the ability to be porous and can take on moisture when outdoors. There ARE various types of outdoor sealers and sprays but we dont use any of them at class. If you want to experiment with outdoor sealers, by all means do so-but I cannot gauantee the end results. There are many out there as well as plenty of reviews from different artists!
All of the paint we use at class is craft acrylic paint. During the class, I will go over a few different brands, what are my facvorites (and why) and how you can learn to manipulate certain brands and types to work better for you and the specific technique you are wanting to achieve!
